Using Pack Unit

Use the Pack Units option to create descriptions of your product packaging units which can then be used to define item packs.

Net•Yield item packs conform with the nomenclature and structure of both UCC.net and EDI standards, which recognize shipped units as falling into three main categories: cases, "eaches", or packages (portions of a case). Eaches, according to UCC rules, are the smallest indivisible item description and therefore cannot be expressed in terms of a non-whole number (i.e: 1.25 EA cannot exist).

Note: The system only displays these three designations for unit description because these units are the only ones currently recognized as a base "unit" by UCC and EDI standards. If you desire to add other unit descriptions to the list, and do not care about conforming with UCC or EDI, consult your Net•Yield system integrator for assistance at 800-352-6463.
